The Society for Institutional Social Responsibility (ISR) has been constituted with the objective of strengthening the institution’s commitment towards social responsibility, community engagement, and holistic student development. The Society seeks to cultivate socially conscious, empathetic, and responsible individuals through meaningful participation in community-oriented activities and experiential learning programmes.
The Society functions with the following core missions:

To support and enrich students’ learning experiences through participative projects and extracurricular activities that contribute to the development of social consciousness, empathy, interpersonal communication, and relationship-building skills.

To uphold the institution’s social responsibility towards the rural and semi-urban communities in the surrounding region and to contribute towards fulfilling the higher education aspirations and developmental needs of girl students.
Aim & Objective
To serve as an institutional mechanism for facilitating the holistic development of students by inculcating service orientation, preparing them for community engagement roles, and enabling them to become socially responsible and ethically conscious citizens.
Roles & Functions

To organise enrichment programmes focusing on moral and ethical values, life skills, employability skills, career awareness, and community orientation for the holistic development of students.

To conduct sensitisation programmes and awareness activities on issues related to community development, social responsibility, gender disparities, social inequity, and inclusive development.

To organise orientation and training programmes in volunteerism and community service, thereby preparing students for effective participation in outreach and community engagement initiatives undertaken by the college and other governmental or non-governmental organisations.

To create and facilitate opportunities for internships, training programmes, and volunteer engagement with reputed governmental and non-governmental agencies, enabling students to gain practical exposure, field experience, and social understanding.
