The Performing Arts & Dance Society provides a dynamic platform for students to explore and nurture their artistic talents in dance and other performing arts while promoting creativity, cultural awareness, self-expression, and holistic personality development. The Society encourages active student participation in cultural and artistic activities that foster confidence, discipline, teamwork, and appreciation for diverse art forms and traditions.
The major roles and objectives of the Society include:

To create opportunities for students to develop their skills in dance, choreography, stage performance, and other performing arts.

To encourage students to explore and promote various classical, folk, contemporary, and creative dance forms and cultural traditions.

To organise cultural programmes, dance performances, competitions, workshops, and artistic events at college, university, and inter-collegiate levels.

To provide a platform for students to express creativity, emotions, and social themes through artistic and cultural performances.

To involve students in collaborative cultural activities that strengthen teamwork, leadership, coordination, and event management skills.

To invite professional artists, performers, choreographers, and experts for workshops, demonstrations, and interactive sessions to enhance students’ exposure and learning experiences.

To promote cultural sensitivity, artistic appreciation, discipline, and confidence among students through regular participation in performing arts activities.
