The Dramatics Society (अभीष्ट) aims to provide students with a creative and expressive platform to explore theatre, performance arts, and cultural expression while fostering confidence, teamwork, communication skills, and artistic sensibilities. The Society encourages students to participate actively in theatrical and cultural activities that contribute to their personal growth, emotional expression, and overall personality development.
The major roles and objectives of the Society include:

To create opportunities for students to develop acting, scriptwriting, stage management, direction, and performance skills through theatrical activities and productions.

To encourage students to explore their creativity, imagination, and artistic abilities through drama, street plays, mime, storytelling, and other performing arts forms.

To organise plays, skits, theatrical performances, workshops, and competitions at intra-college, inter-college, and university levels.

To involve students in collaborative and interdisciplinary cultural activities that promote teamwork, leadership, coordination, and organisational skills.

To use theatre and dramatics as a medium for social awareness, community engagement, and expression of contemporary issues and concerns.

To invite theatre professionals, artists, and experts to conduct workshops, interactive sessions, and training programmes for enhancing students’ exposure and learning.

To nurture confidence, communication skills, stage presence, emotional intelligence, and creative thinking among students.

To motivate students to strive for excellence in cultural and performing arts and represent the college in various competitions, festivals, and cultural events.
