Fashionaire, the Fashion Society of the college, provides a creative and professional platform for students to explore the fields of fashion, styling, apparel design, aesthetics, and creative expression. The Society encourages innovation, artistic development, confidence, and teamwork while promoting awareness of contemporary fashion trends, sustainability, and cultural diversity.
The Society aims to nurture students’ creative potential and provide experiential learning opportunities through fashion-related activities, competitions, workshops, and collaborative projects.
Objectives and Functions

To provide opportunities for students to develop their creativity, design sensibilities, styling abilities, and presentation skills in the field of fashion and apparel.

To encourage students to explore various aspects of fashion, including garment design, styling, fashion illustration, sustainable fashion, textiles, and fashion communication.

To organise fashion shows, exhibitions, competitions, workshops, and interactive sessions at college, university, and inter-collegiate levels.

To promote innovation, originality, and artistic expression through fashion-based projects and activities.

To involve students in collaborative and interdisciplinary activities that enhance teamwork, leadership, event management, and organisational skills.

To invite fashion designers, stylists, industry experts, and professionals for workshops, demonstrations, and mentoring sessions to provide practical exposure and industry insights.

To encourage awareness regarding sustainable and responsible fashion practices, cultural heritage, and ethical fashion trends.
