The Mental Health Club aims to promote mental health awareness, emotional wellbeing, psychological resilience, and a supportive campus environment among students and staff. The Club seeks to create a safe, inclusive, and empathetic space that encourages open dialogue, self-care, emotional support, and positive mental health practices.
The Club works towards reducing stigma associated with mental health issues and fostering a culture of sensitivity, compassion, and holistic wellbeing within the college community.
Objectives and Functions

To create awareness about mental health, emotional wellbeing, stress management, self-care, and psychological resilience among students and staff.

To organise workshops, seminars, awareness campaigns, interactive sessions, and counselling-related programmes on mental health and emotional wellness.

To encourage open conversations and create a supportive environment that promotes empathy, inclusivity, and peer support.

To organise activities focused on stress reduction, mindfulness, emotional regulation, positive thinking, and healthy lifestyle practices.

To collaborate with psychologists, counsellors, mental health professionals, and wellness experts for conducting expert sessions and guidance programmes.

To sensitise students about issues such as anxiety, depression, emotional challenges, academic stress, and social pressures, while encouraging timely support-seeking behaviour.

To involve students in awareness drives, outreach initiatives, and peer engagement activities related to mental and emotional wellbeing.
