The Eco Club aims to promote environmental awareness, sustainability, ecological responsibility, and conservation-oriented practices among students and the larger community. The Club provides a platform for students to actively participate in environmental protection initiatives and develop sensitivity towards ecological issues and sustainable living practices.
The Club encourages students to adopt environmentally responsible behaviour and engage in activities that contribute towards conservation, climate awareness, waste management, and protection of natural resources.
Objectives and Functions

To create awareness among students about environmental issues, climate change, biodiversity conservation, pollution control, and sustainable development.

To organise plantation drives, cleanliness campaigns, waste management activities, recycling initiatives, and environmental awareness programmes within and outside the campus.

To encourage sustainable practices such as water conservation, energy conservation, reduction of plastic usage, and responsible waste disposal.

To organise seminars, workshops, awareness rallies, competitions, exhibitions, and interactive sessions on environmental protection and ecological sustainability.

To involve students in community-based environmental initiatives and outreach activities that promote ecological responsibility and civic participation.

To collaborate with governmental agencies, non-governmental organisations, environmental experts, and local communities for conducting environmental projects and awareness programmes.

To motivate students to undertake environmentally responsible practices in their daily lives and become active contributors towards environmental conservation.

To promote research, documentation, and innovative ideas related to sustainability, green practices, and environmental management.
